The all-inclusive hotels of Poreč, Valamar Club Tamaris and Valamar Tamaris Residence are this year's laureates of TUI Holly 2010., the most prestigious award that is awarded by one of the world's largest tourist operators TUI. With this the Valamar hotels are now included in the top 100 best hotels in the world, in which TUI guests stay at. TUI established the award in1994. and rewards it exclusively on the grounds of expressed satisfaction of its guests in the period of one year. This year competing were 905 world hotels, who to qualify, had to summon at least 35 positive grades given by guests upon arriving home from their holiday. Sixty years of Zlatni rat

In October of last year, hotel company Zlatni rat – whose headquarters are in Bol on Brac – celebrated six decades of successful operation. Zlatni rat, which got its name by the same name world famous Bol beach, is among the most successful Croatian tourist companies.

Founded on October 17, 1948, Zlatni rat started with only a few guest rooms and later it increased its capacity every year. The turnaround in its development was the opening of the hotel Bijela kuca, made with an adaptation of a student home. During that time, an accelerated growth of hotel capacity started, and during the 70s, hotels Elaphusa and Borak are opened and one decade later, hotel complex Bretanide and in 1999, hotel complex Bonaca. Zlatni rat today has 1,600 beds in three hotels, which are operating as part of the Croatian hotel chain Blue Sun. Hotel Amfora reconstructed

The reconstructed Hotel Amfora, located in the town of Hvar on the Island of Hvar and owned by Suncani Hvar company, has recently been opened, offering a number of different amenities and services in addition to the accommodation part, so it is now called Amfora Grand Beach Resort. This is yet another investment undertaken by ORCO Group, which now operates the largest hotel facility in Hvar.

All rooms are equipped to high international standards, and the hotel has the appropriate conference facilities and a swimming pool with cascades unique to this part of the Adriatic. In addition to two congress halls, each seating 350 people, the hotel offers several smaller conference halls for ten to forty participants. A hotel with a view of Diocletian Palace

The new four-star Hotel Marmont has recently been opened in the historical core of the city of Split, in Diocletian Palace. This is a luxury hotel having a total area of 750 square meters. The value of the overall investment is around 10 million euros. The hotel has 21 rooms arranged on three floors and a luxury 150- square-meter suite in the attic.

The investor is SEM 1986. The hotel is located in a reconstructed building of a former shopping mall. A story was added during the reconstruction and a 15th century defensive wall was reconstructed as instructed by conservators, and has thus become an integral part of the interior.
