First Croatian Riu Hotel

At the very beginning of July, the four-star Riu Blue Waves, near the eminent tourist destination Malinska on the northern Adriatic Island of Krk, opened its doors. The hotel is situated by the sea and features around a ninety suites and ten rooms. The hotel is booked out for the summer months, and the great interest of guests suggests an excellent post-season. The hotel complex features a wellness and fitness area, pools for adults and children, as well as a rich hospitality offering bars and restaurants. The a la carte restaurant serves Croatian specialties and other meals suiting the desires of guests. The pension restaurant is located next to the beach and welcomes not only guests of the hotel, but other visitors travelling through or staying in other facilities. The investment of the hotel is estimated at 22 million Euros. In its first year, the hotel will be working seasonally, until the beginning of October, but in the future it will be open year-round. Riu Blue Waves operates under the Spanish Riu hotel chain, which manages over 120 hotels around the world.
