Croatian Museum for Tourism Founded in Opatija
The government has adopted a decree for the founding of a Museum for Tourism which will be located in the northern Adriatic seaside resort of Opatija. At the government session on Friday, PM Ivo Sanader said that Opatija had a ling-standing tradition in tourism and deserved the duty and commitment to be the seat of the Croatian Museum for Tourism. In its decree, the government states the need for an expert approach to its cultural heritage and a venue where Croatia can present its history and development of tourism.
